Miss Sandra Karnaby joined LAU as a full time dietetic internship coordinator in 2013.in addition to her BS in food and nutrition she holds a Masters degree from Long Island University. As part of her MS program she conducted a systematic review of the literature on the topic of Infant Feeding and the Risk of Type 1 and 2 Diabetes. In 2004 she became a Registered Dietitian, after completing an accredited, supervised, clinical internship at Montclaire State University, and passed a U.S. national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Part of Miss Karnaby experience includes but is not limited to Planning and conducting nutritional programs to assist in the promotion of health; supervising activities of a department providing quantity food services; counseling patients and individuals and conducting nutritional research.
